The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet gave its nod to announce JOA (IT) and decided to authorize Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog to go ahead with the process of declaration of results.
The nod was given during the state Cabinet meeting held here on Wednesday that approved the recommendations of the Cabinet Sub Committee constituted to decide selection of JOA (IT) Code-817.
The result of the exam was held up on account of vigilance inquiry of the disbanded Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presiding over the meeting, decided to fill up 113 posts of Drivers in the Home Guards and Civil Defence Department for its smooth functioning.
The Cabinet decided to fill up 50 posts of Clerk in HP Secretariat through direct recruitment.
It gave its approval to convert class-IV part time workers to daily wagers in various government departments who have completed seven years of service as on March 31, 2024.
The Cabinet decided to allocate government of Himachal Pradesh free power to HPSEBL at a rate determined by Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission to meet the deficiency of power of HPSEBL and for the benefit of HPSEBL and consumers of the state.
It also gave its nod for establishment of Himachal Police Cyber Lab in State CID, Himachal Pradesh.
The Cabinet decided to open the Deputy Superintendent of Police office at Indora in district Kangra.
It decided to open a new Sub Divisional Police Office at Chowari in district Chamba and to upgrade Police Post Sihunta in district Chamba to Police Station.
It also approved the opening of a new Police Post at Hatli under Police Station Chowari in district Chamba.
